Fair Lending Regulations & Examinations Webinar

The League of Southeastern Credit Unions has partnered with the Michigan Credit Union League to bring you the Fair Lending Regulations & Examinations Webinar.

NCUA issued a letter to credit unions, 13-FCU-02, to explain the agency’s emphasis on examinations on fair lending. Gain a better understanding of what is covered for the regulations that deal with fair lending – Regulation B, Regulation C and the Fair Housing Act – as well as “best practices” highlighted in the Fair Lending Guide that accompanied the recent letter.

Gaye DeCesare is the speaker for this webinar and is the vice president of compliance service for Aux and previously served as the president/CEO of COMPASS 4 CUs. She has also held positions with Belvoir Federal Credit Union and State Department Federal Credit Union and has specialized primarily in compliance for more than 30 years. She has served on the NAFCU Compliance Standards and Practices Commission and is a founding member of both the Capital Area Compliance Roundtable and regional BSA Compliance Roundtable. She is a NAFCU certified compliance officer, CUNA credit union compliance expert and certified Bank Secrecy Act compliance specialist.
