Hear From LSCU’s Maureen Bock at the 2023 INSPIRE Conference Speaker

Join us from October 11 – 13, 2023, for the inaugural INSPIRE Conference, designed by women, for women. The INSPIRE Conference is a multi-state collaboration designed to be the most powerful and impactful women’s conference for credit unions in the Southeast. Speakers will be influential, powerful, empowering, authentic, and, most of all, inspirational women. This conference allows for many networking opportunities for attendees to connect and share ideas and information.

Attend the General Session on Thursday, October 12, from 10:45 – 11:15 a.m. in the Whitley Ballroom for an informative presentation called “Put Your Oxygen Mask on First.” We have all heard this before on an airplane – put your oxygen mask on first, then help others. But, as women, do we do this? Most times, no. At times, we take on more than we can handle, and we feel like we have to be Superwoman. Maureen Bock, Vice President of Education and Training at LSCU, will discuss the mental and health reasons to put yourself first and her journey through an experience that changed her life and perception of what is important in life.

As a credit union industry leader for nearly three decades, Maureen is an advocate for educational, networking opportunities, and leadership development for credit union staff and executives. Her work for a credit union after college ignited her passion for the industry. She worked in a variety of roles from payments to member engagement to product/vendor relationship management to education and training while at the credit union league in Georgia prior to the 2019 merger with League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU & Affiliates). Today, she leads the Education and Training area for LSCU.
