Hear From Sharon Cook at the 2023 Inspire Conference Speaker

Join us October 11 – 13, 2023, for the inaugural INSPIRE Conference, designed by women, for women. The INSPIRE Conference is a multi-state collaboration designed to be the most powerful and impactful women’s conference for credit unions in the Southeast. Speakers will be influential, powerful, empowering, authentic, and—most of all—inspirational women. This conference allows for many networking opportunities for attendees to connect and share ideas and information.

Attend the General Session on Thursday, October 12, from 9:15 – 10:00 a.m. in the Whitley Ballroom for an exciting presentation on Work-Life Rhythm sponsored by Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta. Work-life balance sounds good in theory, but we all know that striking that balance can be a maddening pursuit. At times, it can feel like the circus act of balancing spinning plates on sticks. During this session, Sharon Cook will share tips to help you reframe your perspective and outlook from one of work-life balance to work-life rhythm.

As Chief Marketing Officer of Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, Sharon Cook oversees Government and Industry Relations, Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Corporate Strategic Planning. Cook is well-regarded throughout the financial services industry for her strategic communications and marketing expertise, and she has a front-row seat into the inner workings of Congress and key decision makers across the industry. Cook gives audiences insight into legislative and public policy developments that will impact the bank’s mission and industry. Cook delivers her presentations with warmth, wit, and candor and is frequently invited to speak at credit union and banking association meetings, particularly focusing on reputation risk management and women in leadership.
