On Tuesday, several Georgia credit unions logged into the first ever Virtual Small Credit Union Summit hosted by LSCU and sponsored by Corporate America Credit Union. This virtual event, originally scheduled to be an in-person conference before the coronavirus pandemic, featured topics ranging from marketing and media relations to loan growth and business lending. Attendees heard from regulators both on the state and federal level and participated in a discussion about the current state of credit unions and the pandemic.
“We had a great day learning about topics that specifically relate to small credit unions,” said Jordan Burroughs, LSCU vice president of member engagement. “This event was very timely. Our presenters provided helpful information for attendees to consider as they’re navigating this next stage of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
The Virtual Small CU Summit for Florida credit unions is scheduled for Thursday, April 30, and the Virtual Alabama event will be on Tuesday, May 12. Registration information can be found on LSCU’s website here.
