Last week, the League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU) wrapped up the 2024 CEO and C-Suite Summit in Savannah, Georgia. “The CEO and C-Suite Summit offers a vital space for credit union leaders to come together, share insights, and learn from one another,” expressed Park Broome, President and CEO of Loyalty Credit Union. “This event exemplifies the importance of fostering the next generation of leaders through innovative thinking and collaborative discussions.”
Attendees also had the opportunity to hear from Josh Cook, CEO of Community Choice Credit Union, who captivated attendees with his visionary approach to leadership and his philosophy of “perception thinking,” highlighting the role of perception in driving sales and organizational growth. Stacie VanDenBerghe, CEO of CU Innovate, closed the event with her engaging session on “Managing Up – Aligning Expectations at Every Level,” offering practical strategies for executives to enhance communication and alignment within their organizations.
In addition to these presentations, attendees participated in interactive breakout sessions and roundtable discussions, covering topics ranging from talent and culture to financial wellness and strategies for executive leadership in a rapidly evolving landscape. The CEO and C-Suite Summit also facilitated essential networking opportunities, ensuring that participants left with new ideas and connections to further their credit unions’ success.
“The presentations were incredibly insightful, covering a wide range of important topics. The networking sessions provided valuable opportunities to exchange ideas and perspectives with other professionals in the field,” said Teresa Owens, Senior Vice President of AmFirst Federal Credit Union. “The discussions were thought-provoking and provided me with fresh insights and tools to drive innovation, address challenges, and enhance my leadership impact in the financial services industry.”
LSCU extends its gratitude to all the sponsors, speakers, and participants who contributed to the success of the 2024 CEO and C-Suite Summit.
