A few things to note as you are planning for 2021 …

Is your credit union ready for the next generation of leadership? There’s no question: at some point, your credit union executives will need to hand leadership over to the next generation. Is your CU ready? The League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates, in partnership with the Florida State University College of Business, will help credit unions answer that question with a free webinar on Oct. 26 at 10 a.m. ET, titled, “Tomorrow’s Credit Union Leaders: Will They Be Ready?”

Be one of the first 100 to register by Oct. 23 for the Southeast Leadership Development Conference Virtual Experience on Nov. 5 and Nov. 6 to receive your special SWAG! This premier leadership event is geared toward leaders within your credit union – CEOs, C-Suite, Leaders/Management, Young Professional Group (YPG) and Volunteers. Do not miss out on amazing and compelling speakers and educational topics, such as living and leading beyond a crisis, GEN Z’s banking preferences, diversity, equity and inclusion, a market outlook, transforming after devastating losses, leading your member service team into the new reality and so much more. Directors can learn about the compliance expectations associated with their role as a director. CPE credits will be available. And there will be four hours of time to spend with cutting-edge solution providers to credit unions.

The LSCU 2021 Leadership College is now open for registration and will be facilitated by Tony Moore, culture architect, keynote speaker, author and recovering human resource executive. Over the course of his more than 25 years in the C-suite, he has had the privilege of leading the people-side of multiple mergers and large-scale organizational turnarounds. The current structure of the coaching college consists of six, one-day training sessions that take place over the course of a year. Two are planned in person in each state, and four sessions will be virtual.

LSCU offers an online and on-demand Supervisory Committee Certification Program. This program contains an overview and five educational modules listed below. Ancin Cooley, the trainer for these educational modules, may be a familiar face. He is a highly rated speaker who has presented at league events and supervisory committee and director training in our three states for many years.
