As a small credit union CEO, Linda Bodie knows the struggle to survive and thrive. She just so happens to also be someone who has been on the cutting edge of technological advancements in banking (not just the credit union space). Small credit unions are invited to learn about key areas where they can generate income, discover how to effectively manage their balance sheet, discuss keeping up with technology, and address the importance of educating members on their finances.
Linda Bodie CEO and Innovator Element Federal Credit Union Linda Bodie is the CEO + Innovator at Element Federal Credit Union headquartered in Charleston, West Virginia. She began her career with Element in 1998.Linda has transformed Element from a traditional banking environment to one that is innovative, personal, and interactive. She continuously uses her analytical and creative skills to build solutions that mesh with consumer needs and demands. She’s also adept at building strong relationships with community organizations to create custom solutions to solve problems. She is a co-founder of CU Pride, the LGBTQ+ association for credit union professionals. She is also a co-founder of CUWLA, the national organization for female CEOs of credit unions with assets under $300 million. Linda serves on various local and national boards. She is active in her community and is involved in projects that promote human rights, equality and justice, and ways to serve others in her community. She loves making a difference in the lives of others and relishes using her creativity to make things happen. |
