Ready to get out to credit union educational events and see your peers? LSCU has you covered! Credit union professionals have been working tirelessly to serve members during the pandemic, and while that continues, it’s also time to drop three Save the Dates on calendars to be ready to interact with peers and experts and bring new innovations back to the credit union.
LSCU will continue to monitor and follow the available public health guidance to ensure our upcoming educational events will be safe and successful. Should there be a change in status of any event, we will let registered attendees know and post information about changes on our events Calendar at a Glance and on our LSCU Statement on Coronavirus.
Idea Institute is coming up live and in-person on Sept. 21 – 23, 2020. This is an innovation and idea sharing event for progressive CUs. Speakers are all from within the CU industry- including four of six presentations being from CU executives themselves. Hear from your peers what they are doing that is interesting, new and how they have gotten through challenges with the pandemic. This event is geared toward CEOs, C-Suite, Board Chair and/or progressive Board Members. Registration will open soon and space will be limited. We hope to see you in Jekyll Island, Ga., in September!
Southeast Leadership Development Conference (SLDC) will be held at The Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection in Point Clear, Ala., on Nov. 4 – 6, 2020. This premier leadership educational event has opportunities to network with peers, vendors and hear from dynamic speakers on a range of today’s hottest topics. SLDC is packed with motivational and inspirational messages to get you charged up to go back and lead at your credit union. This event is geared toward CEOs, C-Suite, Management, Young Professionals and Board Members. Registration will open later this summer.
Mark your calendars for the Southeast Credit Union Conference & Expo (SCUCE) on June 16 – 18, 2021 at a new location, the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. The largest gathering of credit union professionals, volunteers and vendors will descend upon Orlando, Fla., a year from now. We will be looking forward to this opportunity to gather together in 2021.
