Scholarship Opportunities Available for the Southeast Management School

Southeastern Regional Credit Union School (SRCUS), in partnership with the seven Southeastern credit union leagues, invites interested applicants to apply for scholarships to attend the 2024 Southeast Management School from June 16 – 21 at the University of Georgia, in Athens.

The Southeast Management School is a three-year curriculum where students participate on campus each summer for six days. Throughout the year, students apply their knowledge to projects that require strategic analysis of their credit union and research relevant issues facing the industry.

This scholarship program provides $3,000 in scholarships per state, to be awarded to students based on future management potential, involvement in the credit union movement, positions held, and other supportive criteria. The scholarship program is open to all professionals from League-affiliated credit unions. Scholarships recipients must reapply each year.

To apply, prospective students must:

  • Be employed at a credit union with assets of less than $250 million.
  • Complete the application.
  • Include a copy of the credit union’s year-end financial statement.
  • Include a letter of recommendation from your credit union supervisor.
  • Return all items to LSCU by April 29.

Additionally, scholarship applicants are encouraged to proceed with 2024 registration to ensure their spot in the class.
