Mark your calendars for LSCU’s new ULend Academy being held in three states in 2020.
The LSCU introduces a two-day lending workshop called ULend Academy in 2020. This workshop is “a hands-on, customized learning experience that helps lenders go from transactional to consultative, meeting members’ full financial needs” developed by CUNA Mutual Group. League of Southeastern Credit Unions will host the lending workshops in Alabama, Florida and Georgia.
ULEND Academy is set up as a hands-on workshop where participants will discuss, learn and then apply. Graduates will walk out knowing how to use the skills and concepts learned in their daily interactions with members. Since lending is the engine that fuels the credit union, it pays to arm staff with the best training and tools to succeed for them, the credit union and members. The investment is $650 per staff member.
