Upcoming free Webinar Wednesdays edition features crisis management

As credit union professionals have adjusted to taking advantage of virtual resources during the pandemic, webinars have been a crucial tool to expand knowledge. The LSCU’s FREE Webinar Wednesday’s have become an important tool, and one that should not be missed!

The next webinar will be held June 10 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. ET on the topic of  Crisis Management: Historical Wins & Losses and will be presented by Corporate America Credit Union.

“This topic is especially pertinent as our states are part of the nationwide crisis we all face with serious concerns,” said Jennifer Martin, LSCU’s senior vice president of strategic initiatives. “We have received an overwhelmingly positive response from credit unions participating in our Webinar Wednesdays, and we want to be sure all credit unions take advantage of these free educational opportunities.”

Dictionary.com defines crisis as: “A condition of instability or danger, as in social, economic, political, or international affairs, leading to a decisive change.” Although each crisis carries a unique underlying cause, brings unique challenges to the world, and requires unique resolution action, we can learn from history.

Join us as Pete Pritts, president, and CEO of Corporate America Credit Union, shares lessons learned from those who have successfully guided through a crisis as well as those who did the opposite.
