Upcoming NCUA Events

The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) is excited to host two important events for the Minority Depository Institutions (MDI) on September 28, 2021:

MDI Roundtable, 8:50 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. CT
This roundtable is for MDI credit unions in the NCUA’s Southern Region.

The event will feature:

  • Opening remarks by NCUA Chairman Todd M. Harper.
  • A panel discussion by representatives from MDIs discussing best practices and how operations have continued throughout the pandemic.
  • Presentations on financial trends of MDIs in the Southern Region, the duties of supervisory examiners, and their role in the examination process.
  • Remarks by Credit Union Resources and Expansion (CURE) Director Martha Ninichuk and Southern Regional Director Keith Morton.

MDI Virtual Feedback Session, 11:15 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. CT
This session is for MDI officials, management, and staff only.

CURE will host a virtual feedback session for MDIs in the Southern Region to request feedback on the needs of MDIs and how the agency can properly address them.
