Whether your interest is financial literacy for our youth or advancing the artistic creation of our film talent, your support will help the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation and the Florida Prosperity Partnership marry the two to become something even more impactful.
Please consider submitting an entry or becoming a sponsor for the F5: FPP/Foundation Financial Focus FilmFest, planned for May 29 at 7 p.m. at Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate, to show your support for preparing the next generation for their financial future. Last year, FPP alone had more than 600 submissions. With the help of our credit unions, we can break 1,000. There will be a $2,500 award for “Judge’s Award” and a $1,500 award for “Audience Choice.”
Anyone can submit a film or video, so encourage your credit union employees and members. The film must be a maximum of 23 minutes in length. The film or video content must deliver entertainment value (a creative, engaging approach), while not necessarily directly teaching a lesson (a la “talking head”). Submissions that deliver messages that favor saving over consumption, living within one’s means, and making responsible financial choices are desired.
