CailinPsst…has your credit union registered any students for the National Credit Union Foundation’s Biz Kid$ Showcase Competition, yet? Here’s your reminder that the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation (SECUF) has streamlined the process to make it completely easy for our member credit unions!
The Biz Kid$ Showcase Competition has been built to attract and engage young members (and families), raise credit union awareness and allow students to continue to be creative in our current virtual world — and it’s complete FREE for credit unions to take part in. The competition is open to all students, ages 12-18.
All credit unions need to do is share the registration link SECUF take care of the rest! Simply have the students mention your credit union in the “How did you hear about the Biz Kid$ Showcase” field within the registration and we will keep you updated on your student involvement. The top 3 from each state win up to $500 each and the opportunity to be judged in the national competition where they can win up to $1,000 each!
The Southeastern Credit Union Foundation is excited to bring this program to you at no cost to your credit union. Your credit union’s only commitment is to spread the word of the competition to the communities you serve! It’s an easy and fun way to stay connected, get connected and provide financial education to schools, youth agencies, homeschool groups, kids of your employees or any other youth you may have a connection with.
Registration for the Biz Kid$ Showcase is open now through April 26, 2021. The earlier they register, the more time they have to complete the steps.

Competition Timeline:
Students should register by April 26th
April 30th: Deadline for students to complete all learning modules, business plan and Showcase entry
May 7th: Top 3 in each state announced
May 27th: Top 3 in Nation announced
