SECUF Raises More than $18,000 During its Annual Raffle Fundraiser

The Southeastern Credit Union Foundation (SECUF) announced that $18,132 was raised from the annual SECUF Raffle Fundraiser by partnering with several member credit unions. For each raffle ticket purchased, participants were entered into a drawing to win a $5,000, $1,000, or a $500 VISA card donated by CUNA Mutual Group. The drawing was held June 16 during SCUCE 2022. The funds raised help support the SECUF’s initiatives.

The grand prize $5,000 winner is Jaime Lopez, a member of Suncoast Credit Union. Mr. Lopez has been a long-time member of Suncoast Credit Union and has participated in the SECUF raffle in previous years. While Mr. Lopez has no immediate plans for his winnings, he does plan to take his family out for a good dinner!

The second place $1,000 winner is Angelion Williams, a member of Suncoast Credit Union. Ms. Williams has been with Suncoast Credit Union for over 35 years and is a very enthusiastic credit union member, saying that Suncoast Credit Union has helped her through many different phases of life. This was Ms. Williams’ first time participating in the SECUF Raffle and she plans to upgrade her refrigerator with her winnings!

The third place $500 winner is John Nelson, a member of Suncoast Credit Union.
