Social distance while playing golf for a good cause

One of the few sports that makes social distancing easy is golf, and the LSCU is encouraging credit union professionals to get out and enjoy the green in a tournament for a cause. Join the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation for a day of golf on a beautiful course named one of the “Top 3 Best Courses You Can Play in Georgia” by Golf Week and the “#4 Best Course You Can Play in Georgia” by Golf Magazine! The 15th annual Ed Collins Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled for Oct. 1 at Harbor Club on Lake Oconee in Georgia.

Social distancing measures will be in place, and all precautions will be taken to protect participants during the memorial tournament, which originally was scheduled for April.

“The Southeastern Credit Union Foundation is excited to carry on the tradition of the annual Ed Collins Memorial Golf Tournament,” said Foundation Development Coordinator Bobbi Grady. “I hope you will come out and enjoy a day of golf, knowing that you are helping support the important work the foundation is doing in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.”

Participants will interact with credit union executives from around the Southeast while enjoying a challenging day on the course. The registration fees include 18 holes of golf, cart rental, arrival gift, hot lunch, refreshments, and an awards reception following the tournament.
