Southeastern Credit Union Foundation Annual SCUCE Golf Tournament – FORE a Great Organization

As the rain rolled over the Southeast Credit Union Conference and Expo (SCUCE) at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, SCUCE participants helped the League of Southeastern Credit Unions and Affiliates (LSCU) team “tee off” the much-anticipated conference – the Charity Golf Tournament benefitting the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation.

The morning was everything you’d expect from sunny Orlando, Florida – warm with a slight tinge (or a lot) of muggy, but that didn’t stop the shotgun start at 7:30 am. Golfers enjoyed a light breakfast and fantastic raffle prize giveaways along with fun swag bags and lots of opportunities to win! Tournament winners were announced at the Welcome Breakfast this morning.

And all of the proceeds for the Charity Golf Tournament will be well used by the Foundation to help it achieve its mission “to support economic growth by promoting financial wellness, sparking collaborative community initiatives, and providing disaster preparedness and relief to credit unions,” and the Foundation’s vision “to create an environment whereby credit unions can enrich the financial lives of their members and advance the communities they serve.”
