You’re invited to ‘Wine Down’ with SECUF

The Southeastern Credit Union Foundation (SECUF) invites you to join its CU Wine Down Fundraiser on March 25 at 7 p.m. EST.

Participants of this virtual event will receive a wine tasting kit including five wine samples from Voluptuary Wines, an urban-industrial micro-winery based in Sacramento, Calif. The samples will include one white wine, one rose and three red wines perfect for palates ranging from novice to expert.

“We’re excited to partner with Voluptuary for this fundraiser — and we know our participants will love their wines,” said Bobbi Grady, foundation development coordinator at SECUF. “All Voluptuary wines are made with organic grapes, minimal sulfites and no additives. They’re also aged on oak and exotic woods and are 100% vegan, organically made, and natural. In short, they’re completely delicious.”

Trained Wine Educator and Certified Sommelier Michael Bogowitz will lead participants through this superb selection of wines. Michael, who is also an energetic circus performer, has entertained and educated for Google, the San Francisco 49ers, numerous bands and concert venues. He promises an interactive and unforgettable wine tasting experience.

Registrants can order a wine tasting size of 50 mL (enough for one person) or 100 mL (a great tasting size for couples or anybody who just wants a little extra). Registration also includes snacks, a Wine-O-Bingo card (for your chance to win some fun prizes!) and access to the after party.

“We hope you’ll join us for a night of wine, fun and networking,” Bobbi said. “I know it will be entertaining — and all proceeds will go toward the great causes we work hard to champion at SECUF.”

This event was sponsored by OM Financial Group (Overall Event Sponsor), Strategic Resource Management (Swag Bag/Food Pairing Sponsor) and FI Strategies, LLC (After Party Sponsor). Click here for more information and to register.
