Are you up for some Common Cents?

As we get ready to welcome 2021 with open arms, we’re all feeling a lot of excitement for what the new year will bring. So here’s one more thing to get excited about:  Common Cents, The LSCU Podcast will debut on Monday, January 4, 2021.

“Podcasts are a great way to communicate, educate, and interact with listeners. Every day there’s so much going on for the LSCU and LEVERAGE teams, Common Cents will be another way for us to share information with credit unions,” explains the Director of Communications Ann Naiman (formerly Ann Howard) and the host of the new podcast. “Podcasts are fast, convenient and an ‘on-demand’ technology. Our listeners will be able to tune in whenever they want. And for an industry as busy as ours, that’s a win-win.”

Topics to be covered on Common Cents will include all things related to LSCU, LEVERAGE, credit unions in the southeast, the nation and worldwide including education, advocacy, technology and more. You’ll hear from industry experts, the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation and the people who make the credit union industry thrive.

Listeners will be able to tune in at LSCU.coop using the “Communications” button, where they’ll see Common Cents as a clickable option.

On Monday, January 4, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. ET, the inaugural Common Cents, The LSCU Podcast will feature LSCU CEO Patrick La Pine along with LSCU President Jared Ross and LEVERAGE President Steve Willis as they recap 2020, the pain and the successes despite a global pandemic. The leaders of LSCU and LEVERAGE also take a look forward to what 2021 holds.
