Join the Tampa Chapter of Credit Unions on Friday, February 23, at 8:30 a.m. at Topgolf Tampa for the 30th Annual Golf Classic. This annual golf tournament attracts executive leadership from nearly every credit union servicing the Tampa Bay area. Proceeds from this year’s golf classic will benefit the Florida Credit Union Political Action Committee and the Carolyn Parslow Memorial Scholarship. Both organizations ensure that the benefits of credit unions continue to help consumers throughout Tampa Bay.

Join the Northeast Florida Chapter on Saturday, March 9, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Embassy Suites Baymeadows in Jacksonville, Florida, for a free workshop called Teens & Money: A Taste of Real Life. During this workshop, teens will go through a simulation where teens adopt new identities that include instant families, careers, and other financial responsibilities.

Teens will learn how to:

  • Identify wants vs. needs
  • Budget household income
  • Balance a checkbook
  • Establish a savings plan

Join the Tallahassee Chapter on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. ET, for the annual golf tournament being held at Golden Eagle Country Club. This golf tournament serves as the number one fundraiser for both Credit Union Political Action Committee (CUPAC) and Tallahassee Chapter of Credit Unions’ community partnerships.

Join the Birmingham Chapter on Thursday, April 11, from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. ET, at Topgolf Birmingham for the 2024 Annual Meeting and Topgolf Tournament. A portion of proceeds from this event will go to the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation (SECUF), the charitable arm of the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU & Affiliates).
