Consider Donating to Help Hurricane Ian Survivors on International Credit Union Day

Survivors from Hurricane Ian still need your help. Since October 11, there are nearly ten credit union branches still closed from this massive storm. Our credit union community still needs supplies and resources as they continue to navigate the aftermath of Hurricane Ian.

Donations to our credit union family affected by Hurricane Ian can be made to the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation or to CU Aid.

Over the past few weeks, the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU & Affiliates) travelled to the affected areas with recovery supplies for our credit unions. In addition, the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation has received more than 450 grant applications and is working tirelessly to ensure that critical needs are met and resources are provided in a timely manner.

In addition to monetary donations, the League is collecting basic household items, generators, mobile branches, ATMs, hot spots, tarps, and more. Please contact Alisha Stair, Vice President of Member Engagement, at Alisha.Stair@lscu.coop if you are able to lend resources to a credit union in need.
