Here’s how your credit union can receive a scholarship to SCUCE

Here’s a friendly reminder: your credit union may qualify for a scholarship you can use to attend the 2020 Southeast Credit Union Conference & Expo (SCUCE).

This LSCU & Affiliates premier signature event is one of the largest credit union conferences in the country; and it offers invaluable networking opportunities. The cost of attendance ranges from $295 for a one-day pass to $789 for a regular attendee. This is an event most credit unions don’t want to miss — and if cost is a prohibiting factor for your credit union, consider applying for a scholarship for up to $1,000 through the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation.

“We offer these scholarships to help credit unions take advantage of educational opportunities that could enhance their operations,” said Bobbi Grady, development coordinator for the Foundation. “I can’t think of a better event to educate employees than SCUCE. We have such a dynamic lineup this year and the chance to connect with your peers over topics in which we’re all interested is invaluable.”

To be eligible for a scholarship, credit unions cannot have received an educational scholarship through the Foundation yet this year. Credit unions that received scholarships to attend SCUCE last year are also not eligible to use an educational scholarship to attend this year’s conference.

Scholarships are awarded to those who can prove they best exemplify the credit union philosophy and that their attendance at SCUCE would benefit their credit union’s goals. To apply for your chance to win a scholarship, click here.
