It’s Almost Time for the Alabama Advocacy Conference

In just one week, you should be joining the LSCU Advocacy Team, lawmakers, and industry leaders during the 2021 Virtual Alabama Advocacy Conference.

“For anyone in Alabama, working for a credit union, this annual event is best described as a crucial opportunity for credit union professionals who are active in advocacy or want to learn more,” explains Blake Westbrook, LSCU Director of Political Action and Grassroots. “The LSCU Advocacy Team spends hundreds of hours every year communicating with lawmakers – so this isn’t for us. This is for the credit unions. It’s a chance for credit union staff to learn more and speak with lawmakers. The better our credit unions understand the process, the more successful we’ll all be and this success benefits credit union members.”

The Virtual Conference is from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on April 26 and includes:
