Jared Ross Resignation

It is with mixed emotions that I must announce that Jared Ross has resigned his position as LSCU President to be become the next President/CEO of The Florida Beer Wholesalers Association. FBWA represents independent licensed beer distributors throughout the state of Florida. Jared will be replacing the current President/CEO who will be retiring after the 2022 Florida legislative session. Jared’s last day with the LSCU & Affiliates is slated for December 1, 2021.

Jared has been with LSCU & Affiliates for almost eleven years, joining the organization back in January 2011 as Director of Legislative Affairs and rising to his current position as LSCU President in January of 2020. I have had the pleasure of watching Jared grow both professionally and personally during the last eleven years. Through his tenure at the League, Jared has demonstrated a commitment and true passion for serving credit unions in our three states.  His knowledge of the legislative process/politics, intelligence and work ethic have been second to none.

As Jared continued to be promoted up through the organization and his profile continued to grow, I knew the time would come that his goal of running his own trade association would be achieved. As much as I hate to lose him, I am proud to see him reach this professional milestone. I feel confident that the success he has achieved at LSCU will continue in his new role at the FBWA.

It is my intent to conduct a search for a replacement for Jared’s position. LSCU has the strongest state League Association Services team in the country, and I am confident we will not miss a beat with this talented group of men and women during this transitional period. Please feel free to contact me directly on Association Services related issues that you otherwise would have reached out to Jared on until we have completed a search for this position.

In the meantime, please join me in thanking Jared for his years of service to the LSCU & Affiliates and our member credit unions as well as wish him the best of luck in his new role.

Please do not hesitate to contact me directly with any questions. Thank you.
