Lizeth GeorgeThe League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU) through the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) award platform recognized the Legacy Community Federal Credit Union for their outstanding outreach to their members and communities in 2020.
“We’re always pleased to celebrate the best of the best in an industry already known for its service to members – but this year in particular, we feel it’s vitally important to celebrate the credit unions that have gone all-in on demonstrating the credit union difference,” said Jared Ross, president of LSCU.
Legacy Community Federal Credit Union won the Desjardins Financial Education award, which celebrates leadership in both youth and adult financial literacy initiatives. The Legacy Community Federal Credit Union has a chance to win an additional award in the national award program administered by CUNA. The results of the national contest will be announced in November.
