Lizeth GeorgeThe League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU) through the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) award platform recognized the Miami Postal Service Credit Union for their outstanding outreach to their members and communities in 2020.
“We’re always pleased to celebrate the best of the best in an industry already known for its service to members – but this year in particular, we feel it’s vitally important to celebrate the credit unions that have gone all-in on demonstrating the credit union difference,” said Jared Ross, president of LSCU.
Miami Postal Service Credit Union won the Louise Herring Award for Philosophy in Action, which honors credit unions that are making exceptional efforts to include credit union philosophy in their daily operations. Credit unions could receive the award for programs or policies that demonstrate their commitment to the practical application of the “People Helping People” philosophy.
Miami Postal Service Credit Union has a chance to win an additional award in the national award program administered by CUNA. The results of the national contest will be announced in November.
