Nominations now open for 2020 LSCU Awards

The League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates is now seeking nominations for the 2020 LSCU Awards. The LSCU Awards recognize and honor the tremendous talent and impact of credit unions and individuals within the industry in Alabama, Florida and Georgia.

The League encourages all affiliated members to nominate themselves, individuals or other credit unions for these categories:

  • Distinguished Service Award
  • Young Professional of the Year Award
  • Volunteer of the Year Awards
  • Professional of the Year Awards
  • Credit Union of the Year Awards

“We can’t wait to see these nominations roll in,” said LSCU President Jared Ross. “Throughout this pandemic, we have heard amazing stories from credit unions about what other CUs and professionals have done to help each other as well as their communities. We know how humble credit union staff can be — and how busy you all are — so LSCU has simplified the nomination process to make it easier than ever. We want to give all these incredible efforts over the past year the recognition they deserve!”

Learn more about each award and submit nominations here. Nominations are due by 5:00 pm ET March 26, 2021.

Award winners will be recognized at the Southeast Credit Union Conference and Expo held at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek in Orlando, Fla. June 18-20, 2021.

Winners will be confidentially notified in advance of the LSCU Awards ceremony in the hopes they can make arrangements to receive the award in person.

Please join LSCU Director of Communications Ann Naiman on Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. ET for the “LSCU Awards vs. CUNA Awards” webinar. Attendees will learn about the submission process, learn about key dates and learn more about the CUNA Awards.
