It’s hard to believe that the Southeast Credit Union Conference & Expo (SCUCE) is just nine days away!  This conference is the largest annual gathering of Alabama and Florida credit union officials each year, and the LSCU & Affiliates team is working hard to ensure another great event for our credit unions.

We are expecting close to 1,100 credit union officials, guests, and vendors to converge on the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes June 14-16.  This conference not only provides great speakers and breakout sessions on topics of importance to your credit union, it also allows you to network and socialize with fellow credit union leaders. This year we’ve really put an emphasis on beefing up our general sessions with world class speakers.  On Thursday, we have Loren Hudziak from Google, who will speak on the Culture of Innovation, as well as Meagan Johnson, who will discuss how to bridge the generational gap to positively impact your credit union.

Also on Thursday, Ainsley Earhardt, Co-Host of Fox & Friends, will be the special guest speaker at our Advocacy Luncheon. This event is a separate ticketed event that benefits the League’s political action efforts.  You can purchase a ticket by clicking here or at the door.  On Friday, attendees will hear from CUNA President/CEO Jim Nussle on what is going on in Washington, D.C., as well as at our national trade association.  Our last keynote presenter will be Mel Robbins, who will challenge attendees to unleash the power within.

Our Exhibit Hall has always been a focus of SCUCE.  I am pleased to announce that our Exhibit Hall is once again sold out with 153 exhibit booths. Additionally, we have 30 first time exhibitors showing new and innovative solutions for our credit unions.  It is not too late to register for the entire conference or purchase a one-day pass.  You can find a complete conference schedule of activities and how to register by clicking here.

If you have questions or would like more information about the event, please contact LSCU VP of Education Teresa Gray or cal  866-231-0545, Ext. 2110.  I look forward to seeing you in Orlando, and, as always, our team is ready to assist you to ensure you have a productive and enjoyable SCUCE experience.
