adminRegistration will soon open for CUNA Mutual Group’s ULend Academy in Birmingham, Ala.; Atlanta, Ga.; and Orlando, Fla.
ULend Academy is a “hands-on, customized learning experience that helps lenders go from transactional to consultative, meeting members’ full financial needs,” according to CUNA Mutual Group.
“Lending is at the heart of what credit unions offer,” CUNA Mutual Group Senior Consultant Cameron Wetzel is quoted as saying on the group’s website. “When I hear success stories from ULend Academy graduates about helping members and creating exceptional member experiences during the loan event, that makes me feel great about the work we do.”
The League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates will host this lending workshop in Birmingham, Ala., April 14-15, with the Atlanta session May 12-13 and the Orlando session Oct. 14-15.
The curriculum will include, but is not limited to, underwriting, consultation, closing with a purpose, hands-on application, structuring loans and more.
