Southeast Leadership Development Conference (SLDC) is Almost Here

Attend the Advocacy Luncheon on Thursday, November 18 at the Southeast Leadership Development Conference (SLDC) at the Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa in Point Clear, Alabama.

During this luncheon, Senator Chris Elliott, who is currently serving his first term representing Baldwin County in the Alabama Senate, will share a political update.

He graduated from the University of Richmond in Virginia, where he majored in political science and urban policy, and then returned home to Baldwin County to raise his family and become a business owner.

He formerly served as the Chairman of the Baldwin County Commission and the Chairman of the Eastern Shore Metropolitan Planning Organization, as well as on various national, statewide, and countywide boards and committees. While Commissioner, he also served on the Board of Directors of Baldwin County United Way.

In 2015, he was recognized as one of the Mobile Area’s top 40 Under 40 young leaders by Mobile Bay Monthly Magazine, and, in 2018, he was recognized in the Yellowhammer Power & Influence 50: Who’s Next — an annual list of the 50 most powerful and influential players in Alabama politics, business and state government. He is a graduate of the Alabama Leadership Initiative and a member of the 30th Class of Leadership Alabama. In 2020, he was recognized as an Emerging Legislative Leader by the State Legislative Leaders Foundation and the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.

We look forward to hearing from the Senator at SLDC!
