The League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates’ (LSCU & Affiliates) members recognize the military families within our greater credit union family. In observance of Veterans Day, our credit union community is coming together to honor those who have served.
All In Credit Union in Daleville, Alabama, will be participating in the second annual “All In Credit Union Night” at the 2023 National Peanut Festival from November 3 – 12. On Thursday, November 9, All In Credit Union will be honoring military service members by paying the general admission price for the first 10,000 people who attend the Peanut Festival after the gates open to the public.
Achieva Credit Union in Dunedin, Florida, will be sponsoring a 96K Rock Salutes Our Veterans event on Friday, November 10. Radio hosts will team up with Home Base Florida Veteran and Family Care to share valuable information about services available for our brave veterans in Southwest Florida.
VyStar Credit Union in Jacksonville, Florida, is partnering with the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens to offer free admission to all veterans and active military members from November 11 – 12. Veterans can also take advantage of a Buy One Get One Free offer for up to six tickets (three purchased, three free) to ensure that friends and families of servicemembers and veterans are able to take part in these memories. Additionally, VyStar Credit Union is joining forces with Jacksonville Area Legal Aid and other community organizations to present the inaugural Military Financial Wellness Summit on Thursday, December 9, from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. A variety of topics will be covered at the summit, all of which will help veterans learn how to make educated financial decisions and avoid potential pitfalls.
