The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Health Care Enhancement Act, which provides critical additional funding for American workers and small businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic, went into effect on April 27, and the SBA resumed accepting PPP loan applications.
The PPP has supported more than 1.66 million small businesses and protected more than 30 million jobs. Additional funds appropriated by Congress are expected to aid tens of millions of additional workers with critical relief.
