As the World Council COVID-19 Response Committee host a webinar to study the digital transformation of financial services around the world on Dec. 8 at 8 a.m. CT, we’ll see an unprecedented focus on all-things-digital as traditional players compete with new, non-traditional digital players.
New demand for online access, digital collaboration and the delivery of exceptional member experiences will cause a shift towards more digital member interactions, especially given the impacts of the COVID-19 global pandemic. To compete and remain relevant, credit unions will need to adopt digital technologies at an ever-increasing pace.
The webinar includes presentations on:
- Challenge 2025 and the Digitization of the Global Credit Union System. A look at World Council of Credit Unions’ goal to increase worldwide credit union membership through the offering of digital services, by Brian Branch, World Council president and CEO.
- Digital Transformation Imperatives for Credit Unions. Credit union advocate and technology thought-leader Mark Sievewright will provide his perspectives on how financial services will change, and the strategies needed for credit unions to survive and thrive. Digital transformation topics covered in this session will include data processing; online and mobile banking solutions; innovations in payment systems; data analytics and the delivery of seamless member experiences.
