The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) announced four additions to its Credit Union Advisory Council (CUAC) Friday. The council advises the bureau on regulating financial products and services, including how its actions affect credit unions. Members of the council serve two-year terms, and of the four appointed, two are from Alabama and Florida.
The new members are:
- Kayce Bell, chief development officer, Alabama CU. Tuscaloosa, AL.;
- Jack Fallis, president/CEO, Global CU, Spokane, WA.;
- Luis Peralta, chief administrative officer, Kinecta FCU, Manhattan Beach, CA.; and
- David Tuyo, senior executive vice president and chief financial and operations officer, Power Financial CU, Pembroke Pines, FL.
