The Senate Banking Committee vote to confirm BCFP nominee Kathy Kraninger has been postponed, along with delaying nominees for Export-Import Bank, Ginnie Mae, and three other federal appointments.

The vote had been scheduled for Aug. 1 in the committee, but the Senate finished its business that afternoon and has gone home for an abbreviated August recess.  They return Aug. 13.

No date for a re-scheduled vote has been announced.  A source close to the LSCU has been advised the postponement is not specifically related to Kraninger, but instead is due to the committee’s need for the 10-day break.
