Pen Air FCU holds second Super Bowl, helps bus crash victims
Employees of Pen Air Federal Credit Union and their families celebrated the success of the second annual Pen Air Super Bowl at PenAir Field on March 13. The festivities included lively competition, food, fun, and family activities.
The credit union also recently demonstrated its dedication to helping others. After the I-10 bus crash involving band students from Houston, 20 patients were treated at Sacred Heart Health System in Pensacola, FL, and community organizations banded together to lend support. Pen Air Federal Credit Union donated $1,000 in gift cards to help the stranded students.
Alabama CU celebrates local middle school partnership
Alabama Credit Union participates in the Adopt-A-School program. The North River branch took time on March 2 to show support for Rock Quarry Middle School by hanging a celebratory banner and delivering a delicious sheet cake to the Rock Quarry Jaguars. Adopt-a-School is a non-profit organization in Tuscaloosa that connects businesses with education.
Suncoast Credit Union supports educators with $5,000 grant
Suncoast Credit Union believes educators have one of the most important jobs in America as they grow young minds into future presidents, CEOs, not-for-profit leaders, engineers, and parents. The CU’s team recently stopped in to surprise and honor the Golden Apple Award winners in Collier County Public Schools in Florida. The teachers will be awarded a $5,000 grant from the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation to use in support of best practices.
