Palm Beach Chapter holds bowling fundraiser to benefit CMN
The LSCU Palm Beach Chapter of credit unions held a bowling fundraiser to benefit Children’s Miracle Network. Members raised $581.76 at the event, which included two hours of bowling with refreshments and pizza.
All proceeds after expenses will go to the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, which is the CMN hospital for the Palm Beach area.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals) is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals across North America. Its core philosophy is to keep 100 percent of donations in the local area in which they are raised.
For more than a quarter century, all of the funds raised through the CMN Hospitals program locally have helped Nicklaus Children’s Hospital provide the finest pediatric care available in a supportive family-centered environment.
Keys rewards high school students for financial fitness knowledge
Keys Federal Credit Union awarded $15,000 to Key West High School students Taylor Olive, Rachel Wilcox, and Iain Wilcox for mastering financial education in the Financial Fitness Challenge with the Key West Chamber of Commerce and the League of Southeastern Credit Unions. “Locals Helping Locals” is the Keys FCU Difference.
Naheola CU rewards member with flat screen TV during promotion
Africa McCoy received a new flat screen TV from Naheola Credit Union for participating in the Credit Union’s Online Banking promotion. Members were encouraged to enroll in online banking to be automatically entered for a chance to win a brand new flat screen TV. Members could also participate by filling out an entry form at any of the credit union branches. A total of 252 members enrolled in online banking during the promotion.
