The Credit Union Legislative Action Council (CULAC) recently announced those credit unions receiving the Circle of Excellence Award. This honor is awarded annually to the credit union that raises the highest dollars for its state.
Family Security Credit Union, headquartered in Decatur, AL, raised $10,464 for the federal PAC and received the award for the state of Alabama. In Florida, the recipient was Achieva Credit Union, based out of Dunedin, FL, raising $11,026 for federal PAC funds.
CULAC’s purpose is to “provide the opportunity for individuals interested in the future of the credit union movement to contribute to the support of worthy candidates for federal office who believe, and have demonstrated their belief, in the principles to which the industry is dedicated.”
CULAC accomplishes its mission by contributing to and supporting federal candidates and committees that support the Credit Union Movement.
