For the fifth consecutive year, CUNA and the National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS) will provide credit union professionals the latest trends and tactics to safeguard them from cyberattacks.

At CUNA Cybersecurity Conference, June 4-5, in Nashville, attendees will have an opportunity to learn from some of the top minds in cybersecurity to protect their credit unions from cyberattacks.

“As the latest news regarding chip vulnerability so aptly demonstrates, the cybersecurity challenges facing credit unions and regulators show no signs of abating,” said Brian Knight, NASCUS executive vice president and general counsel. “Just as hackers continue to evolve their techniques and hone their capabilities, so too must credit unions and regulators enhance their mitigating strategies and enhance their skills. By bringing together credit unions, examiners and policy makers, this conference continues to ensure our system will meet the cyber challenges to come.”

Session topics include:

  • Cybersecurity litigation and enforcement;
  • Cybersecurity trends and developments;
  • Payment systems and security; and
  • Breach reporting.

“This conference brings together the cutting-edge techniques, best practices and procedures that can protect credit unions from the latest threats,” said James Carrick, CUNA vice president of learning events. “From panel discussions with industry experts to sessions regarding various threats, attendees will return to their credit unions with workable strategies to defend themselves from potential threats.”
