CUNA: The State of Small Credit Unions Today

The CUNA Small Credit Union Committee is sharing a new white paper, The State of Small Credit Unions Today, which outlines current challenges and opportunities facing small credit unions, and why their success remains tied to the success of the overall credit union movement. In this report, there are a number of recommendations to the movement on how smaller credit unions can be supported. CUNA continues to find ways to further support smaller credit unions and this white paper will be a great guide for how CUNA might be able to take additional steps.

However, CUNA is still requesting input from credit unions. The more credit unions engage with the CUNA Small Credit Union Community, CUNA’s virtual roundtables,  advocacy efforts and the CUNA Small Credit Union Committee, the stronger CUNA’s service will be to smaller credit unions nationwide.
