This week, members of Rose City Federal Credit Union in Thomasville, GA, voted to merge with Florida-based Envision Credit Union. On Aug. 1, RCFCU will join with Envision after months of planning and regulatory approvals. The two Thomasville locations will be known as the Rose City Financial Centers. Combined, the credit union will now have more than $500 million in assets and serve more than 50,000 members.
“We are proud to come together with Envision in order to provide the best products and services to our members,” said Lee W. Bryant, CEO of RCFCU. “The needs of our members have always been a top priority of Rose City, and this merger will allow us to offer them more opportunities while remaining financially strong.”
Members of Rose City will now benefit from additional products including debit rewards, mortgage loans, and credit cards. The South Georgia communities will benefit through additional community donations with the introduction of the Rose City Credit Union Foundation.
“Like Rose City Federal Credit Union, Envision is dedicated to serving the people of Thomasville,” said Darryl G. Worrell, President and CEO of Envision. “The staff of RCFCU have served their members well, and they will continue to do so. Rose City members will see the same staff they know and trust at both branch locations.”
Founded in 1954 by 10 Leon County teachers, Envision Credit Union serves more than 45,000 members across nine counties in Florida and Georgia.
