Congratulations to three of our credit union employees who were recognized as being some of Florida’s most influential business leaders from the Florida 500 publication. This special publication highlights the 500 most influential executives in different economic sectors throughout the state.
The Florida 500 credit union employees are:
Brian Wolfburg President & CEO Vystar Credit Union, JacksonvilleVyStar Credit Union started at the Jacksonville Naval Air Station in 1952 and has grown to become a top-15 credit union, with 60 locations, $11.2 billion in assets and 750,000 members across Central and Northern Florida and Southeast Georgia. It recently purchased Heritage Southeast Bank in Georgia. Vystar, with more than 2,000 employees, has “played a large part in the revival of downtown Jacksonville through the purchase and development of our campus, the naming rights of the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena and our support of non-profit and cultural organizations.” Wolfburg has been president and CEO for three and a half years. |

Keith Hoskins Executive Vice President, Branch Operations Navy Federal Credit Union, PensacolaHoskins joined Navy Federal in 2019 as executive vice president after a stint at Gulf Power and 27 years in the Navy. He was named executive vice president of branch operations at Navy Fed earlier this year. |

Kevin Johnson President & CEO Suncoast Credit Union, TampaSuncoast Credit Union, now 86 years old, is the largest credit union in Florida, the eighth largest in the United States based on membership and the 11th-largest in the United States based on its more than $12.6 billion in assets. Suncoast employs more than 1,800 and operates 74 branches, serving 39 counties. Johnson has been president and CEO since 2016. |
