CUNA, in cooperation with The Cooperative Trust, announces the first CUNA National Young Professionals ConferenceMay 2-3, 2018, in Madison, WI.

“The CUNA Young Professionals Conference will be an invaluable opportunity for young leaders to engage in conversations that will help shape the future of the credit union movement,” said Brian Lee, CUNA Young Professionals Committee member and CFO at Landings Credit Union. “We surveyed credit union CEO’s from across the country to assist in developing an agenda that will provide hands-on learning experiences and opportunities for collaboration and growth.”

Attendees will learn about the credit union difference, discover innovative ways to strengthen and advocate for their credit unions and gain insights from CUNA, The Cooperative Trust and industry experts over two days.

“Engaging the next generation of talent is a critical imperative for credit unions today,” said Lauren Culp, manager of The Cooperative Trust. ”The Cooperative Trust is thrilled to collaborate with CUNA on this conference, continuing our efforts to develop young leaders in the credit union system.”

“By coming to Madison for the conference, young professionals will connect with their peers, immerse themselves in the culture of the credit union movement and advocacy efforts,” said Kristin Ryan, director of learning events at CUNA. “These future leaders will return to their credit unions as advocates for change, strengthening their commitment to the movement and their credit union overall.”
