The CUNA awards programs–Dora Maxwell, Louise Herring, and Desjardins–showcase the credit unions and chapters that are leading the way to improving the good works that have been a hallmark of the credit union movement for more than 100 years.

We all know each and every credit union and chapter does something for the greater good, whether it’s for members, the community, or employees. Why not showcase what you do by submitting an entry for one of these awards? Those entries that win at the league level, are submitted for the national competition.

NEW online submission process: In an effort to streamline the submission process for our member credit unions and to reduce financial and human resources spent on the submission process, CUNA and the leagues have collaborated to produce one standardized format and online submission process. There is a submission “web portal” for Alabama credit unions and one for Florida credit unions. To submit, you will be asked for your CUNA website access username and password. If you do not already have one, you will automatically establish an account when you create an application to submit.

The deadline for entry submission is August 7. All the information about each of these awards is located on the web portal for each state (above links) on the CU Award Programs web page on the League’s website. Questions? Contact LSCU Director of Communications Amy Jowers.
