LSCU Insight transitions back to traditional format, continues following CUs and pandemic

In the past weeks, LSCU Insight has been focused on the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on the credit union industry with special COVID-19 editions. As transition begins to the “new normal” we are adjusting too as Alabama, Florida and Georgia begin reopening in phases, we also are transitioning LSCU Insight back to its original format while continuing to provide important updates related to the pandemic.

We want to continue to hear from our credit unions about the good they are doing in their communities so that we can highlight those deeds on our Southeastern Credit Union News site, and we want updates on how credit unions plan to reopen with safety measures and social distancing in mind to protect employees and members.

During this pandemic, we have been honored and proud to see credit unions display the “people helping people” philosophy during a time of uncertainty and tragedy. More than ever, our communities need credit unions to rely on as they are hard hit by job layoffs, illness or lack of funding during the crisis.

We will continue to share the message that credit unions are there for members and are the best at helping people afford life, even in difficult circumstances.
