The 2018 CUNA National Credit Union Roundtable has been announced for Oct. 19-21, in Vancouver, Canada. This event will bring together board members from across the United States and Canada as CUNA is presenting this year’s event with the Canadian Credit Union Association (CCUA).

The event hosts discussions on trending credit union topics and issues, giving leaders an opportunity to discuss the current state of the credit union movement and how best to move forward.

“We strongly believe that Canadian and American credit union leaders will provide interesting perspectives and ideas that can help us grow and thrive as a system,” said Korinne Collins, vice president of professional development and education at CCUA. “In the spirit of the co-operative principles, it will be insightful to explore and tackle common issues, and learn more about the challenges and opportunities in our neighboring countries.”

This event discusses a wide variety of credit union challenges and hot topics, including cybersecurity, the current economic outlook, fostering innovation and more.

“To keep the credit union growing, it’s important for board members to have an opportunity to share their ideas and hear the points of view of other industry leaders,” said James Carrick, vice president of learning events at CUNA. “Industry experts and credit union leaders will use their knowledge and success stories to guide important discussions on how to help attendees identify new avenues to success and solutions to some of our industry’s most pressing issues.”
