Each year, one of the most anticipated events of the Southeast Credit Union Conference & Expo (SCUCE) is the Advocacy Luncheon. In the past several years we have heard from great guest speakers, including Sen. Bill Nelson, Congressman Bill Posey, The Hill’s AB Stoddard, the Cook Political Report’s David Wasserman, and Dr. Steffen Schmidt. This year promises to be the best luncheon yet as we are honored to have Ainsley Earhardt, star of Fox News’ morning show, Fox & Friends, as the keynote speaker.
Earhardt has worked for Fox News since 2007, becoming co-host of Fox & Friends in 2016. She will give us her insights into the goings on in Washington, the first several months of the Trump presidency, and what to expect as we move into the 2018 elections.
The Advocacy Luncheon will be held on Thursday, June 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Mediterranean Rooms 6-7. This is a separate ticketed event. Tickets are a minimum contribution of $85 and benefit the LSCU Federal Political Action Committee (LSCU FedPAC), and the price includes lunch. Attendees are welcome to contribute more than $85.00 each. All tickets must be purchased with personal funds not business accounts. Contributions to the FEDPAC are not tax deductible. Donations made on a credit card will show up as either Piryx, Inc. or Rally, Inc. and are made through a secure website.
Seating is limited for the luncheon, so please make sure to register early. To prepay and register for the event, please click here or email Jared Ross directly to make your reservation or with any questions.
