SCUCE kicks off with a bang

The first day of SCUCE started off with a literal bang, with participants raising funds for the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation in a golf outing that included a potato gun shoot.

Winners of the golf tournament include first place team: Lee Chandler, Will Coplin, Mark Johnson and Morgan Reynolds ($100 each); second place team: Alvin Cowans, Thomas Kellgren, Danny Snider and Michael Wood ($50 each); and third place team: Larry Akin, Ken Palmer, Jerrod Stalvey, Dane Sumner ($25 amazon gift cards).

Closet to the pin winners were Cecilia Homison for women and Lee Chandler for men. Longest Drive winners were Joan Lyons for women and D. Brown for men. Raffle 50/50 winner was Zane Gilmore ($100).

Educational session highlights included a packed house for a cannabis banking regulatory update, two YP sessions on leadership and a lively CEO roundtable.

The day concluded with an energetic cornhole tournament sponsored by Corporate One.
