The Southeastern Credit Union Foundation, along with other members of the Disaster Response Committee, continues to closely monitor Hurricane Dorian, as well as other tropical storms in the Atlantic. Although it seems that we may have been spared from severe impacts, some of our credit unions may be subjected to heavy rains, strong winds and flooding.

We are also in communication with the National Credit Union Foundation and with the World Council of Credit Unions to see how we may be able to partner to help our extended credit union families that did go through the devastation of Hurricane Dorian at its worst. At times like these, we are thankful to work within such a cooperative industry where we all provide assistance to work toward a common goal.

“People helping people” is being demonstrated once again. Please continue to watch all of our channels of communication for regular updates. As always, thank YOU for supporting the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation.
