More than $200,000 in grant requests have already been approved by the SECUF for credit union staff and volunteers who have been devastated by Hurricane Michael.

The work has just began to help our credit union family rebuild.  Over the weekend, we heard reports from one of our Panama City credit unions that they had two staff members’ families living out of their cars, including children. Resources are being provided to these families through the SECUF and our Southeast Disaster Coordinating Council.

The stories of loss and desperation are abundant with the damages of a Category 4 hurricane, and with the people-helping-people philosophy at work, we can make a difference.  If you are able, please consider making a donation of any size to provide support and please share this link on your social media pages so we can spread the word.
